Bhubaneswar, June 18: The third volume of SOAFAL MALA, comprising lectures of eminent persons drawn from diverse backgrounds delivered on-line as part of the SOA Fortnightly Academic Lecture (SOAFAL) Series, was released by SOA Founder President Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak here on Tuesday.
The latest volume of SOAFAL MALA contained lectures on integrated maritime studies and research. The speakers included diplomats, academicians of repute, highly ranked retired naval officers of Indian Navy and maritime experts from different countries including the Netherlands, Poland, Vietnam, Djibouti, Syria, Cameroon and Indonesia.
Two annual commemorative volumes of SOAFAL MALA, comprising 25 lectures each were released earlier. The highly successful lecture series was launched on February 20, 2021 by SOA’s University Outreach Cell.
Prof. Nachieketa K. Sharma, Director of University Outreach Program, was present during the release.
SOA had successfully conducted the ‘Dhara Samudramanthan’ event in collaboration with the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Division, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Culture at Cuttack from November 8 to 10, 2022.
