Bhubaneswar: Three satire books of Odisha’s famous satirist have been launched on Sunday at Jayadeva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. The released books were “Paita Mara” by Mr. Gyana Hota, “Tel Malish” by Mr. Saroj Kumar Satpathy and “Kabira Swargabasa” by Priyabrat Panda. Mr. Sabyasachi Mahapatra, Mr. Vaishnav Mohanty and Professor Biswaranjan joined the launching ceremony on the occasion of the birthday of eminent satirist and Columnist Mr. Gyana Hota and highlighted the significance of satire and its role in society. The speakers in attendance opined that satire is a unique art that is difficult to write and requires such intelligence to understand.
The celebration of the book’s birthday in a different style at the grand stage of Jaydev Bhavan Theater left the literature lovers in awe. All the guests at the venue were appreciative of celebrating the book and author’s birthday in such a unique way. Mr. Atish Mohanty was the host of the said program while Gyani Debasish delivered the welcome speech . The meeting was very enjoyable under the management of Mr. Sandeep Mohapatra. Smt. Chhanda Mishra and Dr. Debashis Mohapatra reviewed three books while the three authors gave their reading comments. At the end, the publisher Mr. Raj Kishore Das (Ethna Books) gave a vote of thanks
