TPCODL wins AIDA Gold Award at EDICON 2026

Bhubaneswar, January 22, 2026: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) has been conferred with the AIDA Gold Award for “Improved Revenue Recovery in a Rural Area” at the EDICON 2026, held in New Delhi.

The recognition underscores TPCODL’s sustained efforts to strengthen rural power distribution and deepen consumer engagement across Central Odisha.
The award was conferred by Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, at the maiden annual conference of the All-India Discoms Association (AIDA). It acknowledges TPCODL’s focused approach towards operational discipline, technology adoption and community-centric reforms aimed at improving service delivery and financial sustainability in rural areas.
Commenting on the achievement, Arvind Singh, CEO, TPCODL, said, “This Award from AIDA reflects the commitment of our teams working across rural Central Odisha. Through operational discipline, technology adoption and active consumer engagement, we are strengthening power distribution while ensuring reliable and sustainable electricity services for our communities,”

The AIDA Awards saw participation from 29 DISCOMs across India, with 78 nominations evaluated by an independent jury of industry experts. Utilities from both public and private sectors were recognised across multiple categories.
Organised over two days, EDICON 2026 brought together policymakers, regulators and power sector leaders to deliberate on key issues such as DISCOM viability, utilisation of smart meter data, renewable energy integration and improvement in the quality and reliability of electricity supply.
The recognition further reinforces TPCODL’s role in enabling reliable, efficient and sustainable electricity services for rural communities across Central Odisha, supporting inclusive growth and development.
