TPCODL’s Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Meter Testing Laboratories Earn NABL Reaccreditation for Quality and Precision
Bhubaneswar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, is proud to announce that its Meter Testing Laboratories at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack have successfully renewed their accreditations from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). This achievement underscores TPCODL’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
The Bhubaneswar Meter Testing Laboratory underwent a rigorous two-day audit by Ex-Director, NABL India and Technical Assessor, UGVCL (Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited). Similarly, the Cuttack Laboratory was evaluated by senior NABL auditors. Both assessments thoroughly reviewed the laboratories’ quality systems, documentation, technical competence and energy meter testing capabilities.
Through these evaluations, both laboratories successfully demonstrated adherence to international standards, including ISO/IEC 17025, ensuring their ability to deliver precise, reliable and credible test results. The renewal process highlights TPCODL’s continued focus on upholding stringent quality standards and its dedication to providing world-class testing services.
The NABL accreditation for the Bhubaneswar & Cuttack Laboratory is valid for four years i.e. up to 2029. During this period, both laboratories will continue to undergo periodic audits and assessments to ensure consistent compliance with international benchmarks.
