TPSODL Observes Founder’s Day on 187th Birth Anniversary of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata
Berhampur, March: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) observed the 187th birth anniversary of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata along with its Foundation Day at its Corporate Office in Berhampur. The occasion was marked with reverence and reflection, celebrating the enduring legacy, vision, and values of the founder whose principles continue to guide the organisation. The day also marked the successful conclusion of the week-long Ethics Week 2026.
The observance brought employees together to reaffirm their commitment to integrity, transparency, and responsible governance. Throughout the week, a series of awareness sessions, pledge-taking ceremonies, and interactive discussions were organised across offices, encouraging employees to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct.
Employees actively participated in discussions around real-life workplace scenarios and principled decision-making. The sessions created an open platform for dialogue and reflection, strengthening the culture of accountability and mutual trust within the organisation. The enthusiastic participation across departments reflected TPSODL’s strong ethical foundation.
The concluding ceremony was led by Mr. Amit Kumar Garg, CEO, TPSODL, who paid tribute to the visionary founder and highlighted the relevance of ethics in modern corporate functioning. Addressing the employees, he said, “Ethics is not confined to policies or documents; it is demonstrated through our daily actions. At TPSODL, every decision we take must reinforce trust among consumers and stakeholders. Performance is important, but principles define our long-term success.”
On the occasion, TPSODL also launched Tata Volunteering Week 24, which will now continue as a month-long initiative across Southern Odisha. Employees will engage in community-driven activities focused on education, environmental sustainability, and social wellbeing, further strengthening the organisation’s connect with the communities it serves and carrying forward the founder’s vision of nation-building through responsible enterprise.
