Kashipur, 02/2: Utkal Alumina International Limited (UAIL), a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries of Aditya Birla Group under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, inaugurated and dedicated a newly constructed Community Centre at Tikiri village in Kashipur Block. The facility was formally inaugurated by Unit Head and President Mr. Rabinarayan Mishra, in the presence of community leaders and CSR team members. The Community Centre located at the heart of Tikiri village, it has been developed to serve as a common platform for the local community to organize social, cultural, and community-based activities. The infrastructure is expected to strengthen social cohesion and provide an inclusive space for community gatherings, meetings, and celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mishra emphasized UAIL’s continued commitment towards inclusive and sustainable community development in its peripheral areas. He highlighted that such community assets play a crucial role in fostering collective participation and preserving local culture. Senior officials from UAIL CSR, including Ms. Lopamudra Mishra, Head – CSR, Mr. Diganta Mohanty, Department Head Plant CSR, and CSR team members Mr. Asish Kumar Sahu, Mr. Kamadev, and Ms. Hemalata, were present during the inauguration ceremony.
The event witnessed active participation from local community leaders, including Mr. Niranjan Nayak, Mr. Upendra Patra, Mr. Haraprasad Nayak, Mr. Krushna Pujari, Mr. Harihar Nayak, and Mr. Mohan Dandasen, along with villagers from Tikiri and nearby areas.
Community members expressed their gratitude to UAIL for the timely support and meaningful infrastructure development and conveyed their expectations for continued cooperation and engagement in future community development initiatives.
