VIGILANCE LAUNCHES DA SEARCHES AT 9 LOCATIONS OF AE(CIVIL), IRRIGATION DIVISION

Bhubaneswar : On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Sri Prasanna Kumar Swain, Asst. Engineer ( Civil) Irrigation division, Bhanjanagar, Dist-Ganjam, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance today i.e on 11.09.2024,. The teams are led by 7 DSPs, 5 Inspectors/ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur at his following places. 👇

1. Tripple storeyed
   residential building located at Bagdevi Road , Bhejiput road, Bhanjanagar.
2. Four storeyed building at Tulsinagar of Berhampur.
3. Tripple storeyed building at Bagdevi road, Bhejiput, Bhanjanagar.
4. Double storeyed under construction building
   at Word no. 6 NAC Bhanjanagar.
5. Tripple storeyed building located at Bhanajanagar.
6. Relative ‘s house at Raghunath Vihar , Bhanjanagar.
7. House of his cousin at Bagdevi road, Bhanjanagar.
8. Office Chamber of Sri Prasannna Kumar Swain at Bhanjanagar.
9. Single storeyed parental house at Luduludi under Bhanjanagar P.S, Dist-Ganjam.

During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sri Swain and his family members;

1. One four storeyed building with area approx. 9000 Sqft. at Tulsinagar of Berhampur worth approx. Rs.2.4 Crore.
2. Another four storeyed residential building with area approx. 6000 Sqft. located at Bagdevi Road, Bhejiput road, Bhanjanagar.
3. One triple storeyed building with area approx. 3000 Sqft. at Bagdevi road, Bhejiput, Bhanjanagar.
4. Another triple storeyed building with area approx. 2500 Sqft. located at Bhanajanagar.
5. Double storeyed under construction building with area approx. 5850 Sqft. at Word No.6 NAC Bhanjanagar.
6. Double storeyed paternal house with area approx. 1130 Sqft. at Luduludi under Bhanjanagar PS, Dist-Ganjam.
7. 5 high value home stead plots including 1 in Berhampur & 4 in and around Bhanjanagar.
   Details as under;

i) A piece of land vide plot No.428/5340, Khata No.230/29358 with area 0.049 dcml at Berhampur.

ii) A piece of land vide plot No.6556 & 6563, Khata No.713 with area 0.062 dcml at Bhejiput, Bhanjanagar.

iii) A piece of land vide plot No.1090/2895 & 1090/2896, Khata No.813/333 with area 0.041 dcml at Lalsingh, Bhanjanagar.

iv) A piece of land vide plot No.700, Khata No.918 with area 0.045 dcml at Badapada, Bhanjanagar.

v) A piece of land vide plot No.6559, Khata No.1127/1127 with area 0.047 dcml at Bhejiput, Bhanjanagar.

The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above buildings/plots are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.

8. Bank deposits/Other investments are being ascertained.
