Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : The government of Odisha has assigned five senior IAS officers with the responsibility of supervising the relief, rehabilitation and restoration works arising out of very severe Cyclonic storm “Yaas’. The officers instructed to proceed to the respective Districts immediately.
As per the notification by the GA Department, Principal Secretary to Government, Industries Department Shri Hemant Sharma has been assigned to look after relief, rehabilitation and restoration works in Kendrapada district whereas Principal Secretary to Govt., Higher Education Department Shri Saswata Mishra has been entrusted with Jagatsinghpur district. Principal Secretary Food Supplies & CW Department Shri Vir Vikram Yadav is given the charge of Bhadrak district, whereas Principal Secretary to Govt., Sports & YS and Tourism Department Shri Vishal Kumar Dev and Special Secretary to Govt Agriculture & FE Department Suresh Basistha are assigned to look after the relief, rehabilitation and restoration works Balasore and Mayurbhanj district respectively.
