Satara:Cooper Corporation a leading engine, engine component and generator manufacturer, based in Satara, Maharashtraproudly announced its remarkable achievement in the prestigious Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA – WR) 8th Best Practices Competition. The competition, held at The Orchid Hotel, Pune, brought together 72 esteemed industry groups from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradeshand Gujarat, showcasing their innovative best practices and advancements in the automotive sector.
In the fierce competition, Cooper Corporation stood out by securing the second-place award in the Low-Cost Automation (LCA) category, a testament to its commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. The award-winning project, presented by the Engine Plant’s Maintenance Department’s Warrior Team comprising Mr. Jaykar Gawade and Mr. Suraj Matkar, impressed the judges with its outstanding contributions to cost reduction through innovative automation solutions. Cooper Corportation’s L3 Foundry Maintenance Department also presented the project in Energy Conservation category and was headed by Mr. Atul Bhosle and Mr. Rajendra Jadhav.
The award ceremony was graced by Mr. Shyam Singh, Plant Head of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, Pune who presented the awards to the winners and commended the exemplary efforts of all participants in driving innovation and excellence in the automotive sector.
