More than 650 teachers benefit from pedagogical capacity-building initiative in Lakhanpur, Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Odisha; 8th September, 2025 – Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots education by organizing a Block Level one-day teachers’ orientation program in collaboration with the Block Education Department at Mahima Degree College, Bijapali. The event, aimed at enhancing pedagogical skills and promoting educational excellence at the foundational level, brought together over 650 elementary teachers from across Lakhanpur block.
The program included expert-led sessions on lesson planning, classroom management, creation of teaching-learning materials, disaster preparedness, first-aid, and the effective use of technology in classrooms. Teachers received hands-on training, participated in discussions, and were felicitated with certificates post-training. Sashmita Sahu, Joint Director, OSEPA, and Amulya Kumar Padhan, Regional Director, DHSE, Sambalpur, along with other key dignitaries from the Education Department attended the event.
