NTPC Bongaigaon Inaugurates Infrastructure Development Project at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Balijan under CSR Initiative
Bongaigaon: Reinforcing its commitment towards quality education and community development, NTPC Bongaigaon inaugurated a major infrastructure development project at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV), Balijan, implemented under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

The project, executed at a cost of ₹1.80 crore, comprises the construction and development of Science Laboratories, a Library, and five Classrooms aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure and enhancing learning opportunities for students of the region.

The facilities were inaugurated by Shri Nabam Vivek, Hon’ble MLA, 14th Doimukh Constituency Arunachal Pradesh, in the presence of Shri Takar Rava, ADC, Balijan; officials of NTPC Bongaigaon; and Smt. Sujatha Nayak, Secretary, VKV Balijan, along with teachers, students, parents, members of the local community, and officials of NTPC Bongaigaon.

The inauguration ceremony marked a significant milestone in NTPC Bongaigaon’s continued efforts to support educational institutions and create an enabling environment for holistic learning and academic excellence.

The project is designed to provide students with access to modern educational facilities, particularly in science and technology. The newly established science laboratories will offer practical learning opportunities and help nurture scientific temperament among students, while the upgraded library will serve as a knowledge hub encouraging reading, research, and intellectual development. The additional classrooms will
