Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : As apart of World’s Largest Vaccination Campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to bring the Covid-19 pandemic under control, all the Railway Health Workers including Doctors, Paramedical Staff and other Medical Staffs are being vaccinated with COVID vaccine at Railway Hospital at Bhubaneswar.
A total of 40 Health Workers in East Coast Railway Central Hospital at Mancheswar have been vaccinated on 2nd February, 2021. Till the time it came for print, total 140 have already been vaccinated.
This is a 2-dose vaccine, which will be administered within a gap of 28 days. Each dose is of 0.5 ml. Acutely unwell and intensive care unit patients and pregnant and lactating women will not be administered with the vaccination now.
East Coast Railway General Manager Shri Vidya Bhushan had instructed Railway Medical authorities to take enough precautions and care for administering these vaccines as directed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
