TPNODL Launches Digital Awareness Campaign to Mark Digital India Diwas

A month-long initiative aimed at elevating digital literacy, optimizing operational efficiency, and enhancing consumer services across northern Odisha.

Balasore, July 2, 2026: – TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has officially launched “Accelerating the Digital Journey,” a month-long campaign commemorating Digital India Diwas. This comprehensive initiative is designed to accelerate digital transformation, drive operational excellence, and elevate the service experience for both consumers and employees across the organization’s licensed distribution areas.

The campaign was formally inaugurated by Mr. Dushyant Kumar Tyagi, Chief Executive Officer, TPNODL. Joining him at the launch were key members of the leadership team, including Mr. Nilesh Potphode, Chief – Operations Services; Mr. Siladity Sengupta, Chief Financial Officer; Mr. Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, Chief – Projects; Mr. Rajib Kumar Nayak, Chief Engineer – Projects; and Mr. Rajeev Kumar Goel, Head – IT & OT, alongside other company officials.

During the inaugural session, Mr. Tyagi outlined the company’s strategic vision, emphasizing TPNODL’s commitment to building a future-ready, customer-centric power distribution network. He noted that through targeted digital interventions, the organization remains dedicated to delivering seamless, convenient and highly efficient services to all consumers and stakeholders across its operational footprint.

Throughout the month-long campaign, TPNODL plans to roll out a series of structured employee awareness sessions, targeted consumer engagement activities, and robust digital campaigns designed to maximize the adoption of its online service platforms. The company aims to actively encourage consumers to transition to digital channels for critical services—such as billing and payments, new electricity connection applications, service requests, and grievance redressal—ensuring streamlined, hassle-free operations.

In line with strengthening internal efficiencies and supporting this digital transition, TPNODL will also host specialized, in-house knowledge-sharing sessions for its workforce and business associates. These sessions are designed to fortify digital literacy across the organization, ensuring seamless delivery of efficient, customer-focused services.
