Puri / Bhubaneswar: Reliance Foundation provided special nutritious meals to 250 Scout and Guide students who supported frontline services during Puri Rath Yatra 2026.

The young volunteers represented 22 schools, including 240 students from Puri and 10 from Bhubaneswar. They assisted the administration with crowd management, emergency response, pilgrim support and the smooth movement of ambulances along the busy festival routes.

The meal support was organised following a request from Mr. Rajendra Narayan Harichandan, Vice President of the Bholanath School Alumni Association and Rover Leader in Scouts. Freshly prepared meals were arranged to help the students remain nourished and energised while carrying out their demanding responsibilities.

As part of its Anna Seva initiative, Reliance Foundation also extended daily lunch and dinner support to girl students from different parts of Odisha, residing at the Bholanath High School hostel.

The support reflects Reliance Foundation’s wider commitment to caring for the volunteers and communities contributing to the safe and seamless conduct of the Rath Yatra.

Reliance Foundation, in collaboration with the Puri district administration, is implementing a comprehensive range of services under Puri Rath Yatra Seva Services 2026. These include Anna Seva, support for frontline personnel, sanitation assistance, volunteer engagement, public infrastructure and technology-enabled coordination.

Through its Central Kitchen and dedicated serving facility at Bholanath High School on Grand Road, Puri, the Foundation is serving freshly prepared satvik meals and safe drinking water to pilgrims and frontline personnel from July 15 to 27, 2026.
