from Local Contacts. The deadly virus has taken 7 lives in last 24 hours taking the death toll to 147. The total COVID19 positive cases stand at 26892 including 9919 active cases and 16792 persons cured/discharged till date .
The health department has reported the sad demise of 7 Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals. A person of 63-year old male of Sundergarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes, one 45-year old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes, one 51-year old female of Ganjam district, one 58-year old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes, one 55-year old male of Ganjam district, one 66-year old male of Cuttack district and the last one is a 51-year old male of Malkangiri district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
