Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : World Pharmacist’s Day was celebrated at the SUM Ultimate Medicare here on Saturday with medical professionals underscoring the importance of pharmacists in the healthcare industry.
The program was attended by Dr. Swetapadma Dash, CEO, Dr. (Brig) Biraj Mohan Mishra, Chief of Medical Services, Mr. Subhakanta Nayak, HOD, Pharmacy, Mr Santosh Kumar Nayak, HOD, Clinical Pharmacology, Departmental HODs and staff from different departments.
Awards were presented to members of the department at the conclusion of the Pharmacy Week-2021 program which was held from September 18 with the theme: “Pharmacy: #Alwaystrustedforyourhealth.” A special cake was sliced on the occasion.
The program was conducted under strict sanitization and social distancing protocol.
