Bongaigaon: NTPC Bongaigaon commenced the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 on October 26, 2026, with the administration of the Integrity Pledge by Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, at its premises in presence of Departmental Heads and officials. The occasion reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to upholding integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct in all spheres of professional and personal life.

Observed under the theme “Probity for Prosperity,” Vigilance Awareness Week seeks to foster a culture of honesty, strengthen ethical values and encourage collective responsibility towards building a transparent, accountable and corruption-free society.

As part of the week-long observance, an essay-writing competition and a slogan-writing competition were organised for employees, providing platforms to articulate their perspectives on integrity, good governance, ethical decision-making and the importance of vigilance in nation-building. The competitions encouraged employees to reflect on the role of individual responsibility and organisational ethics in achieving sustainable development and national prosperity.

Through these initiatives, NTPC Bongaigaon continues to reinforce the message that vigilance is not merely an institutional responsibility but a shared commitment that begins with individual integrity. The observance also highlights NTPC’s sustained efforts to nurture an ethical workplace culture while contributing to the larger national vision of a corruption-free and prosperous India.
