80th foundation day of Netaji’s Azad Hind Sarkar marked
Cuttack (Kalinga Voice): Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust (SNSMT) marked the 80th foundation day of Netaji’s Azad Hind Sarkar. “This Day has a Deep connection with the Balidan Diwas of legendary Shri. Bhagabati Charan Panigrahi (23 Oct).
The demand for 21 October to be marked in our national calendar as ‘Declaration of Independence Day’ has been standing for far too long. In year 2018 PM Narendra Modi had supported us by hoisting the national flag on 21 October at Red Fort of Delhi. He had stamped the fact that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was the first PM of akhand Bharat / India and Azad Hind Sarkar was our first Government. Sadly 21 Oct till date has not been included as it should have been. The Truth is a Truth is a Truth. We hope for good sense to prevail on the ones in positions of power” said noted socio-political leader, SNSMT Chairman and lead member of Netaji movement Shri. Suparno Satpathy
The event was graced by many who’s who of Odisha albeit India. Speaking on the occasion Ex DGP Odisha and Ex DG CRPF Retired IPS Shri. Prakash Mishra said “The ideology of Netaji needs to reach at every corner of our country and a bit more in Odisha if we truly wish to be progressive.”
Shri. Abhay Sahu of CPI too addressed the august gathering.
