Bhubaneswar, Odisha: Aahwahan Foundation announces its large-scale Odisha Flood Relief 2026 mission, mobilizing over 200 volunteers to deliver emergency humanitarian assistance across 133+ flood-affected villages in Odisha , with a target of distributing 10,000 Grocery Kits to thousands of families affected by the devastating floods. Following devastating floods that disrupted lives in several districts, the Foundation has mobilized over 200 volunteers to conduct rescue operations , distribute essential relief supplies, and support thousands of affected families. The large-scale initiative covers Balasore, Bhadrak, Basudevpur, Markona, Bonth, Tihidi, Dhamra, Dhusuri, and other severely impacted areas, ensuring that vulnerable communities receive timely aid despite challenging conditions. A key component of the Foundation’s emergency response is its ambitious goal of distributing 10,000 Grocery Kits to flood-affected families . Each relief kit has been carefully prepared to address immediate household needs and contains essential food and hygiene supplies, including rice, dal, cooking oil, poha, salt, biscuits, soap, detergent, toothpaste, and other daily necessities. These kits are designed to help families sustain themselves while longer-term recovery efforts continue.

Speaking about the ongoing relief efforts, Mr. Braja Kishore Pradhan, CEO & Founder of Aahwahan Foundation, said, “Our priority is to reach every family that has been affected by these devastating floods with dignity, compassion, and urgency. Every grocery kit distributed and every rescue effort undertaken represents hope for communities struggling to recover.”

As floodwaters submerged homes, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted access to food and basic necessities, Aahwahan Foundation rapidly activated one of its largest disaster response operations. Dedicated volunteer teams have been working around the clock to reach remote villages where transportation has become difficult and access to essential supplies remains limited.

Beyond emergency food assistance, Aahwahan Foundation is coordinating rescue support and humanitarian outreach in collaboration with local authorities and community volunteers. The Foundation’s response emphasizes speed, transparency, and equitable distribution so that relief reaches the most vulnerable populations, including children, women, senior citizens, and economically disadvantaged families.

Recognized as one of India’s leading NGOs for disaster relief and humanitarian response, Aahwahan Foundation believes that meaningful recovery can only be achieved through collective action. The organization continues to strengthen partnerships with CSR contributors, corporate organizations, philanthropic institutions, local administrations, and individual donors to expand the reach and impact of its relief initiatives.

Every contribution made toward the Odisha Flood Relief 2026 campaign directly supports rescue operations, emergency food distribution, logistics, and humanitarian assistance for families whose livelihoods have been severely affected by the floods. By combining community participation with organized disaster management practices, the Foundation aims to provide immediate relief while helping communities rebuild with resilience.

Aahwahan Foundation invites corporates, institutions, philanthropists, and individuals to support the Odisha Flood Relief 2026 mission. Together, through timely action and collaborative efforts, it is possible to restore hope, protect vulnerable communities, and help thousands of families recover from one of the state’s most challenging natural disaster.
