ADITYANS CLINCHED GOLD AND SILVER MEDAL IN THE CBSE EAST ZONE SPORTS AND GAMES COMPETITIONS -2022

BHUBANESWAR: The success of the Adityans took a new height as two students from the Aditya Birla Public School Bhubaneswar won gold and silver medals in shooting in the CBSE East Zone Games and Sports Competitions held at Ranchi last month.

Master Anwesh Patnaik and Miss Shreshtha Sharma of class X won the gold and silver medals in the categories of under-17 boys’ rifle and under-17 girls’ pistol, respectively. Both of them are dedicated and focused on studying and shooting. The pair is affiliated with the Odisha Aditya Birla Gagan Narang High-Performance Shooting Range, which is located at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

Dr. S. Ganguli, the Group Advisor for Education, ABCMPL, congratulated the winners and thanked the entire ABPS Bhubaneswar family for their support to the emerging young sports talent. The principal, Mr. L. N. Dash, appreciated the efforts given by the youngsters and mentioned that in the ABPS Bhubaneswar study and sports are given equal importance. As a result, students can showcase their talent in competitions at the national level.

The winning of titles in shooting is undoubtedly an epochal milestone for the history of the school and the Aditya Birla Group as well.
