Bank of Baroda Opens a New Branch in Cuttack, Odisha

Cuttack, July19, 2024: Bank of Baroda (Bank), one of India’s leading public sector banks, announced the opening of a new semi-urban branch in Choudwar town inCuttack, Odisha. This is the Bank’s 20thsemi-urban branch in the Cuttack Region and the 61st semi-urban branch in Odisha State. In total, Bank of Baroda now has 60 branches in Cuttack Region and 179 branches in Odisha State.

Shri Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Baroda inaugurated the new branch. Mrs. Swapna Bandopadhaya, General Manager& Zonal Head, Bhubaneswar Zone, senior bank executivesand staff members of the Zone & Region were also present during the branch inauguration

Inaugurating the new branch, Shri Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Baroda said, “We are pleased to add to our presence and deepen our commitment to the state of Odisha. With the opening of this new semi-urban branch at Choudwar, the Bank aims to provide the people of the region with improved access to mainstream banking services and promote financial inclusion.”

The Bank’s Bhubaneswar Zonecovers the states of Odisha and Jharkhand and has a total of 304 branches, of which 99 are rural branches and 102 are semi-urban branches.
