BJD MP Bhartruhari, former MP Siddhant Mahapatra, and Padma Shri Awardee Dr Damayanti Beshra joined BJP

New delhi : Biju Janta Dal MPs Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab, former MP and eminent Actor Shri SiddhantMahapatra, and Padma Shri awardee DrDamyantiBeshra have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi, on Thursday. During the event, Senior Leader and Union Minister Dr. Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP National Vice President Shri Baijayant Panda, BJP National General Secretary Shri VinodTawde, , Odisha State In-charge Shri Vijaypal Singh Tomar, Odisha BJP President Shri ManmohanSamal and BJP Media Co-Head Dr. Sanjay Mayukh were present.

BJP National General Secretary Shri VinodTawde welcomed Shri BhartruhariMahtab, SmtDamyantiBeshra, and Shri SiddhantMahapatra into the party. Shri Tawde highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi, the government is witnessed to be working towards the welfare of villages, the poor, youth, farmers, Dalits, marginalized, and oppressed. Shri Tawde emphasized the aspirations of the people of Odisha for positive changes that the BJP, under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi’s leadership, aims to bring about for the welfare of the public.

BJD MP Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab asserted that Nationalism, Unity, and Development can be achieved through the BharatiyaJanata Party. Shri Mahtab further emphasized that the ‘Shakti’ of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi, the ‘trust’ of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, and the ‘inspiration’ from Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda will propel the nation forward.

Former BJD MP Shri SiddhantMahapatra expressed that during his visit to Gujarat in 2009, he found inspiration in the demeanor of Shri NarendraModiji, who was then serving as the Chief Minister of the state. Shri Mahapatra highlighted the nationwide transformation under the leadership of PM Shri NarendraModijiand BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Naddaji. Shri Mahapatra conveyed his commitment to bringing about a similar successful transformation for Odisha and its residents under Shri NarendraModi’s leadership.

Padma Shri Awardee and Santhali Author Dr. DamyantiBeshra expressed her gratitude towards Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri NarendraModijiand noted his longstanding commitment to public service. DrBeshra shared that she was inspired by the leadership of Prime Minister Shri NarendraModiji and the vision of ‘SabkaSaath, SabkaVikas’ to join the BJP and contribute to public welfare. DrBeshra added that under the leadership of PM Shri NarendraModi, she will be dedicated to working for the empowerment of women.
