Bhubaneswar,(Kalinga Voice) :- DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar celebrated children’s day amidst and pomp and fervor in its premises observing all cannons of COVID-19. The occasion started with a floral tribute to the country’s first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on his auspicious birth anniversary. In the formal meeting organised to mark this occasion, the Principal of the school Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo highlighted on the importance of the day and urged the students to prepare themselves as per the need of the hour and stand up to the expectations that Pandit Nehru dreamt about the nation. It was followed by a beautiful chorus and colourful cultural programme on the virtual platform by the teachers aimed at boosting the morale and confidence of the students during this trying time of pandemic. As the coincides with diwali- the day of Maha Nirban Diwas of Swami Dayananda Saraswati the pioneer of vedic thoughts, a holy hawan was organized to mark this occasion. The whole array of activities witnessed a smooth conclusion under the guidance of the principal and the wholehearted cooperation of all members of the staff.
