Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : The fight against corruption will be further intensified. The list of assets is mandatory for all people’s representatives, from the bottom to the top, including the Chief Minister. The list of all assets will be sent to the Lokayukta, Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik told addressing the Biju Janata Dal state council meeting. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the adoption of the resolution on various issues at the council meeting. Giving a proposal at the BJD State Council Meeting Naveen said “Our fight against corruption will be further intensified. From sarpanch to block chairman to Zilla Parishad President and Vice President, to MLA, Minister and Chief Minister, all should disclose their property statement and it will be kept in the public domain, As regards MPs, our party MPs will do it voluntarily and set an example for the entire country, he said. All government employees from entry-level to Chief Secretary will also give their property statement every year and it will be kept in the public domain for public information.”

Approving the proposals passed at the state council meeting, the Chief Minister said, “I am personally happy that there is a proposal to reserve seats in medical colleges and engineering colleges for children studying in government schools. I believe that this will be a milestone in the direction of social justice. Women’s empowerment is my favorite thing. All the proposal will be sent to the concerned ministers.
