First District-Level Meeting of Mo College Abhijan Held at Dhenkanal Autonomous College

Intellectual Contribution by Alumnus is a wonderful way to connect to the Alma Mater:Akash Dasnayak

Dhenkanal/Bhubaneswar:Mo College Abhijan is a fantastic platform launched by the Govt of Odisha since 2021. In this context the first District–level meeting was conducted at Dhenkanal Autonomous College, where 21 district based colleges and its respective alumni’s participated. Mo College Abhijan Chairperson Shri Akash Dasnayak was the Chief Guest of the event while Alumni President Dr.Abhay Kumar Panda, Biswanath Behera Secretary of Alumni association and Principal of the college Shri Ranjit Kumar Pradhan were also present.

Addressing the meet, Chairperson Mo College Abhijan Shri Akash Dasnayak said,“ One can donate to this wonderful platform of Mo College in various intellectual ways. Money is not the only way of contribution. Being connected with your respective institution in every possible also marks a contribution. All Alumni should visit their corresponding institution and they should establish a connection where they can contribute their respective time, energy and intellectual efforts. Mo College Abhijan should be the motto of every College progress along with its alumni contribution”

Principal Shri Ranjit Kumar Pradhan also stressed on the need of connectivity between the institution and its alumni which will pave way to the flourishing of the Colleges. Alumni President Dr. Abhay Kumar Panda and Biswanath Behera Secretary of Dhenkanal Autonomous College Alumni association also requested fellow alumnus to connect to their Alma Mater for the overall progress of the Alma Mater.

Dr. Soumya Nanda faculty and Alumni of Dhenkanal Autonomous College discussed about the Joy of Giving and conducted the meeting. Distinguished alumnus Madhusmita Sahu(IAS) and Retd. Professor Sadhana Satpathy gave their valuable message through video conferencing during the event. Mo College Coordinator Dr. Debashis Mohanty proposed vote of thanks at the conclusion of the program.

More than 500 Students, alumni’s and college authorities were present at the event.
