IIT Bhubaneswar Signs MoU with Odisha CSR Forum To Boost Sustainable Development and CSR

Bhubaneswar: IIT Bhubaneswar signed an MoU with Odisha CSR Forum to collaborate on CSR, sustainability, community development, and capacity-building projects across Odisha. The MoU was exchanged between Prof. Shreepad Karmalkar and Shri Brajendra Kumar Mishra, in the presence of other officials.

The partnership aims to create a framework for sustainable development, leveraging IIT Bhubaneswar’s research and the industry expertise of the Odisha CSR Forum. Both organisations will conduct training, workshops, seminars, conferences, CSR conclaves, consultations, and consultancy projects on CSR strategies, sustainability, ESG, skill development, and social impact.

They will also work on projects in education, health, environment, livelihoods, rural development, renewable energy, and climate change.

The agreement focuses on engaging students and youth in CSR and outreach programmes, and supporting scholarships for talented, disadvantaged students.

Officials highlighted the importance of multi-stakeholder collaborations in addressing societal challenges. The alliance aims to strengthen CSR-driven community efforts and promote knowledge sharing across Odisha.
