MSP Web Portal Training Workshop Successfully Conducted

Bhubaneswar, August 5: A comprehensive web portal training workshop aimed at enhancing proficiency in the management of the “Mukhyamantri Sikhya Puraskar” Award was successfully conducted on Saturday. The workshop, organized by ‘Mo School Abhiyan’, took place concordantly at the conference Hall of “Odisha School Education Programme Authority”(OSEPA) and “Directorate of Teacher Education and State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).

The training programme was attended by participants, including the Principals of the District Education and Training Institute, Teacher Educators from each district and MIS cum planning coordinators. During the workshop, participants received hands-on training and gained insights into the intricacies of the award-related procedures. Live demonstrations illustrated the functioning of the web portal and its user-friendly interface.

The “Mukhyamantri Sikhya Puraskar” Awards’ initiative, set to commence this year, is a pioneering effort to acknowledge and motivate individuals who contribute significantly to the education ecosystem. The programme is designed to recognize excellence in two distinct categories: Individual Awards and Institutional Awards.

Under the umbrella of Individual Awards, students stand to earn recognition through categories like Student Academic Award, Student Leadership Award and Student Merit-cum-Scholarship Award. Teachers and Head Teachers will also be eligible for individual accolades, including the CRCC Award, BEO Award, and DEO Award. These awards are aimed at inspiring continued dedication and commitment to educational excellence.

In parallel, Institutional Awards will honor secondary school, elementary schools etc. across various levels such as district, block, school, village and panchayat.Acknowledgments will extend to entities such as the Best SMC Award, Alumni Committee Award, and Gram Panchayat Award. Additionally, three outstanding DIETs will be recognized for their exceptional contributions.

Mr. Manoj Padhi, Director of SCERT, concluded the occasion commending the innovative approach of the Mukhyamantri Sikhya Puraskar Award, while hailing it as a pioneering initiative within the country.The successful completion of the training workshop signifies a significant step forward in streamlining the processes of the training workshop programme, ensuring a seamless and efficient selection process for the esteemed accolades.
