Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : In spite of all the measures taken by the and the lockdown and shut down to contain and confine the deadly virus, CORONA positive cases remains a matter of concern. In the last 24 hours in the state, 591 cases and 3 deaths are reported. Total positive cases in the stare now stand at 16701, including 5259 active cases and 11330 persons recovered and discharged. The Health Department report about the death of 3 persons, two from Ganjam and one from Gajapati.
The highest number of 182 positive cases detected from the Ganjam district followed by Khurdha with 121 positive cases. The district-wise cases found are Angul 1, Balasore 13, Baragarh 35, Bhadrak 3, Bolangir 9, Boudh 5, Cuttack 38, Deogarh 3, Dhenkanal 9, Jagatsinghpur 22, Jajpur 19. Jharsuguda 5, Kendrapada 8, Keonjhar 6, Koraput 4, Malkangiri 8, Mayurbhanj 22, Nabarangpur: 22, Nayagarh 11, Puri 6, Rayagada 1, Sambalpur 20, Sundargarh 18, as informed by I & PR Department, Odisha
