One more step towards COVID safety precautions
New Delhi (Kalinga Voice): To felicitate and acknowledge the contributions of those completing their service, a function is organized in every working unit of Indian Railways from Division level to Board level including Workshops and Production Units, on the last day of every month. However, of late, due to the spread of CVOID-19, these functions were not being held with physical gatherings.
To restrict COVID-19, it has been decided to conduct this function with virtual means. Now, these Retirement functions will be held through Video Conferencing at 1700 Hrs (5 PM) on the last working day of every month on all India Basis.
Zonal Railways, Divisions, Production Units, Workshops shall be connected with Railway Board through video link. All precautionary measures will be observed at the venue of Video Conferencing and Social/Physical distancing norms will be strictly followed.
Union Minister of Railways & Minister of State for Railways may also join in this retirement function through Video Conferencing link to thank Railway employees for their immense contribution to this great organisation.
