Jharsuguda: The 163rd birth anniversary of prominent educationist of Arya Samaj, social reformer, and key pioneer of the DAV educational movement, Mahatma Hansraj and Samarpan Divas was observed with great reverence and enthusiasm on the Jharsuguda DAV premises. The program was organized under the chairmanship of the school Principal, Laxmi kanta Debta. At the beginning of the ceremony floral tributes were offered to the portrait of Mahatma Hansraj, remembering his invaluable contributions. A Havan was also conducted on the school premises.
Dr. Vedula Manjushri conducted the program, while Namita Pandey, in her address, highlighted the life philosophy of Mahatma Hansraj, his dedication to education, and his immense contribution to the society. At the end of the program, Jayanti Patel delivered the vote of thanks. The successful organization of the event was made possible with the active support of Akshaya Pani, Nayan Pradhan, Sarita Mishra, Sunanda Praharaj, and Ankita Sahu. Through this observance, everyone was inspired to imbibe the ideals, dedication, and humanitarian values exemplified by Mahatma Hansraj.
