Dabuna : The CSR wing of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) under its project Padhega Bharat has launched a dedicated school bus service at Badakalimati Gram Panchayat in Joda Block of Keonjhar district in Odisha. The school bus will benefit the school going students from class 1 to 8inBadakalimati Gram Panchayat.
Sri Dwarikhadhish Upadhyay, Head, Dabuna Beneficiation Plant, AM/NS India flagged off the schoolbus in presence of Sri Banaj Khatua, Unit HR Head, Sri Srisha Charan Prusty, Head-Security, AM/NS India,Sri Malaya Kumar Panda, Lead-CSR, Sri Balabhadra Patra, President, Bada Kalimati Development Society (BKDS) and other local representatives.
AM/NS India has been continuously making efforts in bringing change in the lives of the community where it operates. Besides launching Beti-Padhao Scholarship for the girls, the company has set up a dispensary and has provided Mobile Medical Unit and Advanced Life Support Ambulancefor the nearby villagers.
