TPCODL Celebrates 6 Years of Powering Progress in Central Odisha

Bhubaneswar, June 11, 2026: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, celebrated its 6th Anniversary, marking six years of transformative growth, innovation, and service excellence in Central Odisha’s power distribution sector.

Serving a population of 1.36 crore across a distribution area of 29,354 sq. km. and a consumer base of 32.96 lakh, TPCODL has emerged as a leading power utility in the country. The event highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering reliable, quality, and customer-centric power supply while building a resilient and future-ready electricity distribution network.

During the occasion, the leadership reflected on TPCODL’s significant progress in strengthening infrastructure, driving digital transformation, enhancing consumer services, and fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence. At the core of its growth has been an unwavering commitment to reliable, safe, and customer-first service delivery.

Recognised among India’s leading power distribution utilities, TPCODL has secured an A+ rating in the latest Annual Integrated Rating & Ranking of Power Distribution Utilities by the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The company has achieved this prestigious distinction for the second consecutive year, underscoring its commitment to operational excellence, strong corporate governance and financial resilience.
