TPCODL Concludes National Safety Month 2026 with Safety Awards

Bhubaneswar : TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) concluded the observance of National Safety Month 2026, reaffirming its continued focus on strengthening safety practices across its operations. The month-long observance, held from 4th March to 3rd April 2026, focused on enhancing safety awareness, improving risk preparedness and promoting safe work practices among employees and stakeholders.

The programme concluded with a closing session attended by senior leadership, employees and frontline staff. During the session, officials highlighted the importance of safety in day-to-day operations and reiterated TPCODL’s focus on achieving ‘Zero Harm’ and ‘Zero Accident’ across its operational areas.

A range of activities were conducted during the month to engage employees and reinforce safety practices. These included safety awareness campaigns, quiz competitions, safety pledge drives, PPE awareness sessions, mock drills, training programmes and field-level safety inspections. Special emphasis was laid on sensitizing field staff and contract workers on electrical safety, hazard identification and emergency response.

As part of the closing session, Safety Awards were presented to employees and teams for their contribution towards maintaining safety standards. An exhibition on safety, organised by children, was also held on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Singh, CEO, TPCODL, said, “Safety is a core value that guides our operations.
