Bhubaneswar, October 05, 2026: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and Government of Odisha, has won 20 awards, including 15 Gold and 5 Silver, at the 8th Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC 2026) organised by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Bhubaneswar Chapter.

Held on September 26–27 at the SOA University campus in Bhubaneswar, CCQC 2026 brought together organisations and quality teams to showcase innovative practices, structured problem-solving and improvement initiatives under the theme “Leading with Quality for Sustainable Growth and Self-Reliance.”

TPCODL participated with 20 teams, with all teams presenting their projects at the convention. The projects addressed operational and business challenges through structured problem-solving, innovative approaches and practical solutions aimed at improving efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability.

TPCODL also received the Second-Highest Team Participation Award, recognising the company’s strong focus on Total Employee Involvement (TEI) and employee-led improvement initiatives.

Commenting on the achievement, Gajanan S. Kale, CEO, TPCODL, said, “The recognition at CCQC 2026 reflects the commitment and collective efforts of our teams towards continuous improvement. It reinforces our focus on innovation, operational excellence and delivering better outcomes for our customers and stakeholders.”
