Badbil/KVB : A 16-wheeler collided head-on with an Innova vehicle in Naradpur on Wednesday morning, killing driver Penu Mahakud and injuring three others. The injured were immediately admitted in the Tata Company Hospital in Joda, From where they were air lifted to Bhubaneswar by helicopter and a plane from Tonto Airport in Bhadrasahi. The accident was so severe that the fire department was forced to evacuate the driver. The driver died On the spot and others were rescued by locals. The dead driver’s home is in a state of disrepair. Police arrived at the scene, confiscated the truck, and arrested the driver.
