Jharsuguda(Subas Sahare): Vedanta’s Jharsuguda plant, the largest aluminum producer in the country, has launched an innovativeMonsoon PreparednessCenter (MPC)equipped with required gear and apparatus to bolster emergency planning and rescue preparedness inits world-class aluminum smelters and power plants. The brand-new MPC will monitor data from across the length and breadth of the plant for rapid action in emergency scenarios, particularly during unpredictable monsoons. Parallelly, Vedanta is also fast-tracking digitalization of Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability (HSE&S) monitoring and reporting for unlocking greater agility in analytics-based decision making.
Speaking about the HSE&S measures adopted by the company, Mr. CN Singh, CEO – VedantaLtd., Jharsuguda said, “Our Monsoon PreparednessCenteris the latest addition to the emergency planning and rescue preparedness measures deployed at the site.
