Berhampur, November: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) organised a blood donation camp at its Corporate Office in Berhampur. The Camp was held associating with the Central Red Cross Blood Centre, Cuttack and ALIG Educational & Welfare Society. The initiative aimed at saving lives by replenishing blood banks and extending support to patients in need of blood transfusions.
A total of 72 units of blood were collected during the camp. The event saw an enthusiastic response from employees, voluntarily donating blood. Their participation reflects TPSODL’s continued commitment to community welfare and social responsibility.
The event was organised as part of the company’s ongoing volunteering efforts. The blood donation drive is a part of TPSODL’s larger initiative to conduct blood donation camps across all six Circles of TPSODL. This effort is aimed at supporting patients in urgent need and also promoting better health and well-being among employees
The camp was formally inaugurated by TPSODL CEO, Mr. Amit Kumar Garg, along with other senior officials. They appreciated the involvement of employees and encouraged them to continue contributing to such noble causes. Mr. Garg also led by example and personally donated blood during the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Amit Kumar Garg, CEO, TPSODL, said: “Blood donation is one of the highest forms of service to humanity. I am proud of our employees who came forward in such large numbers to support this life-saving cause. TPSODL will continue to promote initiatives that strengthen our bond with the community and make a meaningful difference.”
