Bhubaneswar : Ama Gaurav Ama College organised an Interactive Webinar on “Nasha Mukt Bharat – Role of Youth for Drug-Free India” on Thursday, 3rd September 2026, with the objective of sensitising students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and highlighting the crucial role of youth in building a healthy and drug-free society.

The Key Speaker, Dr. Md. Imran Ali, De-Addiction Warrior, Co-Founder of Salaam Jeevan Trust and Advisor, NSS Bureau, CHSE Odisha, shared valuable insights on drug addiction, its impact on individuals and society, and the importance of youth participation in the fight against substance abuse. Around 2500 students from 2 Universities and 16 Colleges attended the webinar.

The interactive session witnessed participation from colleges and universities across Odisha, including:

The webinar reinforced the message that young people can become powerful agents of change in creating a drug-free India through awareness, responsible choices and active community participation. The event also witnessed an ending where a mass pledge was taken by AGACPS officials, and participating Institutions along with the esteemed Speaker.
