Rotary Club Jharsuguda City to Organise Mega Health and Blood Donation Camp on August 9

Jharsuguda, Aug. 7: Rotary Club Jharsuguda City will organise a Mega Health Camp and Blood Donation Camp on Sunday, August 9, at Swarnabhoomi premises on Sarbahal Road in Jharsuguda. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering free health check-ups and medical consultations across multiple specialties.

Addressing a press conference at Mohini Royal Hotel on Friday, Club President Naveen Mishra said the initiative aims to promote health awareness and encourage people to seek timely medical advice in view of the growing health concerns associated with today’s busy lifestyle.

He informed that a team of specialist doctors from Vidya Vikas, Sambalpur, will provide consultation and treatment during the camp. The medical team will include specialists in cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, dentistry, physiotherapy, and pathology.

The blood donation drive and the overall management of the mega health camp have been entrusted to the women members of the club. Mishra appealed to the residents of Jharsuguda to participate in large numbers and make the most of the free healthcare services and the opportunity to donate blood.

Among those present at the press conference were Rotary Club Jharsuguda City’s Founder President Vikas Badhan, Ashok Kedia, Sunil Kedia, Sanjay Lodha, First Lady Pooja Mishra, Sangeeta Kedia, Project Director Rotarian Lipat Arora, and Amit Kedia.
