Bhubaneswar, 26th October 2026: Tanishq, India’s largest jewellery retail brand from the house of Tata, has announced the launch of its new store in Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, followed by a press conference. Tanishq now has 21 stores across Odisha further strengthening its presence in East India with a store that is a celebration of Odisha, rooted in its rich craft heritage and reimagined for today. The store was inaugurated by Mr. C K Venkatraman, Former Managing Director, Titan Company Limited, at 12 noon, in the presence of Mr. Sah Gaurav Krishna, Regional Business Head, East, Titan Company Limited, and Mr. Yogendra Hans, Business Associate.
Located at Saheed Nagar, Maharishi College Chowk, beside IDBI Bank, Janpath Road, Bhubaneswar, Odisha 751007, the store spans 11,000 sq. ft. and reflects Tanishq’s design excellence and customer-first philosophy. Conceptualised as a celebration of Odisha, rooted in its heritage and reimagined for today, the store draws inspiration from the state’s rich artistic traditions, encompassing intricate stone and wood carving, Pattachitra, Jhoti Chita, golden grass craft and Sambalpuri weaving. These influences come together to create a distinctive retail destination that celebrates the region’s cultural identity while catering to the evolving preferences of modern consumers.
The store’s design brings these influences to life through a series of thoughtfully crafted details. The stone-carved facade draws inspiration from Odisha’s temple architecture and Sambalpuri silk motifs, while an intricate marble inlay in the foyer takes its cue from the delicate geometry of Jhoti Chita. Partitions feature a hand-embroidered lotus field on translucent fabric inspired by Pattachitra art, while the staircase walls reinterpret regional weaving traditions, including Sambalpuri Ikat, Berhampuri Pata and Bomkai silk. A cornice inspired by Berhampuri silk and a lotus-inspired chandelier carry the design narrative through the store, complemented by a cash counter that reimagines Odisha’s stone-carving tradition through ornate circular motifs in a refined copper finish. The Rivaah wedding jewellery section is marked by large-scale Pattachitra-inspired figures, golden grass installations crafted by artisans from an art village, and a wood-carved portal framing the bridal display zone. Together, these elements translate Odisha’s diverse craft traditions into a distinctive, contemporary jewellery retail environment.
The store houses an extensive selection of iconic Tanishq jewellery designs across dazzling plain gold, stunning diamonds, natural-coloured and inspired gemstones and polki. The store proudly presents Tanishq’s latest Diwali collection, ‘Adhyantara’, inspired by the celestial world around us. From the brilliance of stars and the magnificence of the moon to the first light of dawn and the infinite vastness of the universe, the collection brings these extraordinary elements into contemporary expressions of gold. Customers can also discover ‘Aagomon’, ‘Abahan’ and ‘Elan’, alongside ‘GlamDays’, a versatile daily-wear jewellery line and ‘String It’, a modern and lightweight collection. Exclusive ranges such as ‘Dor’, a mangalsutra collection inspired by sacred elements of Hindu weddings and ‘Aveer’, Tanishq’s jewellery line for men, are also available. The store also showcases ‘Rivaah’, the brand’s dedicated wedding jewellery sub-brand designed to reflect the bridal traditions of diverse Indian communities, along with many more designs.
To celebrate the launch, Tanishq has introduced special inaugural offers, wherein customers can avail up to ₹301* off per gram on gold jewellery, up to 20%* off on making charges of gold jewellery, and flat 0%* deduction on exchange of old gold (above 18kt) from any jeweller. Customers can also opt for Gold Rate Protection, by booking in advance and staying protected against any increase in the gold rate. The offers are valid from 26th October 2026.
