Sundergarh(Horachand Deuria) : Expelled IIC Of Birmitrapur police station, Sundergarh Anand Chandra Majhi is nabbed by police today . The crime branch has arrested Sri Majhi from the forest in Handapa area of Anugul district. Anand’s arrest was announced on Twitter by Director General of Police Abhay. He is arrested on charges of involvement in rape and abortion cases.
Anand Chandra Majhi, a police officer was accused in the Birmitrapur juvenile delinquency and abortion case in Sundergarh, has been sacked. Police DG Abhay fired him today and DG begged apology to the victim minor girl . The DG also said that his behavior was shameful. The police DG Crime Branch on Tuesday ordered an investigation into the incident. The expelled Birmitrapur IIC was also suspended previously after the allegation surfaced .
