MoU Signed Between Aditya Alumina Refinery and Centurion University: A Step Towards Establishing a New Animal Health Centre

Kashipur – As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Aditya Alumina Refinery, Kansariguda, a unit of the Aditya Birla Group, has taken a significant step toward enhancing health and animal welfare standards in the region.
As part of this effort, the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Centurion University, under which a modern Animal Health Centre will be established in the Kansariguda area.
This centre will benefit local livestock farmers and agriculturists by providing timely veterinary care, vaccinations, nutritional advice, and disease prevention support for their animals.
This collaborative initiative aims not only to strengthen the animal healthcare infrastructure but also to contribute to the economic and social development of the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mazhar Baig, Unit Head of Aditya Alumina Refinery, Kansariguda, said:


“This Animal Health Centre will be a milestone for improving community health and animal well-being in the region. Through this initiative, we aim to promote both economic and social progress.”
The centre is expected to be completed and become operational in the near future.
Several senior dignitaries were present at the signing ceremony, including:
Professor Dr. Mukti Kanta Mishra, President, Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Mrs. Arundhati Bishwal, Director – Partnerships, CUTM Mr. Deepak Mahanti, Head – HR, Aditya Alumina RefineryMr. Mrutyunjaya Lenka, Vice President – Mines , Mr. Tanmoy Mahanti, Head – CSR and R&R And other  officials from both Aditya Alumina Refinery and Centurion University.
