‘Prof. Patitapaban Mishra memorial smart class room’ inaugurated in Ravenshaw University.

Cuttack: Ravenshaw University unfolds a smart classroom on Tuesday named ‘Prof.Patitapaban Mishra memorial smart class room. Inaugurated by ‘Mo College’ Chairperson Shri Akash Dasnayak, the smart class room is a tribute of siblings, Ms.Pravati Mishra, Dr.Pranati Mishra,Shri Ranjan Mishra and Shri Plasmon Mishra  to their late father Prof.Patitapaban Mishra who worked as a Professor of Physics in Ravenshaw University. During the event,  Shri Dasnayak stated ‘‘we have stepped one step closure towards binding the society to college/university. Shri Patitapaban Mishra was a simple man. The way he dedicated his entire life towards physics is absolutely commendable.  Back in time when researches in physics were taken as a difficult travail, Prof.Mishra guided many students and motivated them to achieve excellence. Children of Prof.Mishra contributed together to build a memorial hall to keep alive the sheer dedication their father had. Later 2x matching grant was allotted from ‘Mo College’ to turn their dream into reality.’’

Shri Dasnayak also stated Education is the first and foremost thing towards a progressive country. Students should not keep their knowledge limited rather explore the vast versatility of it by giving their cent percent. It will only fetch them academic excellence. With that, he also expects to see more numbers of alumni being connected to their lovable alma-mater for overall development in coming future.    

The event was addressed by Vice-Chancellor Prof.Sanjay kumar Nayak where he applauded ‘Mo College Abhijan’ for its various initiatives meant for the infrastructural development. He also stated, ‘Prof. Patitapaban Mishra will always be remembered for his innovative ideas and contribution for dept. of physics of the University’. Prof.R.N.Mishra joined the event and cited the biography of Prof.Patitapaban Mishra whereas Vote of thanks was given by Prof.Sibabrata Das.
